WRONG / ALTER STOCK DISPATCH


In a large warehouse like FMCG with many SKU to handle, always there is a chance of alter dispatch, if the outer cartoon is same, some writing on the outer car might be impossible as the materials getting handled by ground level workers

  1. Unable to read ( Educational qualification )
  2. Lack of training
  3. Lack of Lighting facility
  4. In case of multi point dispatch driver & helper unable to identify.
  5. Negligence etc
  6. Bar code & Scanner will cost more

What’s might be the solution

  1. Educated worker will cost more or unable to do loading & Unloading activities
  2. Proper and repeated training will cost more
  3. Proper lighting will cost more

What’s the outcome

  1. Wrong stock might get delivered
  2. Extra cost for reverse logistics
  3. Dissatisfied customer & effect in ROI ( Return on Investment )

What’s the solution

The only and prominent solution is to change the colour of the outer cartoon as per SKU, For Ex :- If it’s a Orange flavor outer box will be orange in colour .

  3. Create a great market visibility at the time of goods getting traveled a marketing & branding aspect is also there .

 In the ERA of Covid 19 pandemic, business down, people at home so all we need to think about some different structure altogether. I am working in Cake and Bakery unit, people will consume, but how the product will get cater to customer point directly.
